Aryavrata is the land of God's Chosen people and Om Dharma (Sanatan Dharma) is the religion that God decided for humans. There are various Kalpas and with begining of every Kalpa god creates in new way but two things remain eternal. One is god and the other is Sanatan Dharama. Being born as Arya/Sanatan is divine.I am not that lucky to be born in Sanatan. In every Kalpa many sects of this eternal religion come and are lost in time. But OM Dharma is remains there as a living symbol of God.
What is Sanatan Dharama and when it evolved
Raising this question will be as foolish as asking when was god born.
But we can ask when Sanatan evolved in this Kalpa. With begining of every Kalpa Brahama creates Manu from his soul (Not from Dust) and hands him the eternal law called Sanatan. This is the very reason that taking birth in Sanatan is divine. So with creation two things happen, first Manu comes to earth second Sanatan/Arya Dharma is established. Then the son of Manu establishes Arya Kingdom. The present kalpa is called 'Sveta Varaha' kalpa due to the fact that Vishnu lifted the earth from Rasatala in the form of white boar (after Hiranyaksha threw it there). The previous one was known as Padma Kalpa. In each kalpa there are 14 manus who rule the earth. The vedic records suggest that in present Kalpa it was Swayanbhuva Manu from whom civilization began. His son Ishvaku is the founder of Arya Kingdom in this Kalpa At present we are in the sway of 7th Manu at present. His name is Vaivaswata. In each Manvantara (the life time of Manu) there is a separate Manu, separate Indra and seven rishis(seers) and so on. . We are yet to discover more scriptures regarding Arya Dharama. With the grace of Shri Hari and Global support of Humans will make us see the truth of civilaztion.
Often People call Aryas hindus but are they hindus?
Answer to this question is Arya Dharma(Sanatan), the religion of Aryas,Inspired by divine Incarnations and revelations ("by the breath of God") the ancient rishis (sages and seers) sang divine songs in the forests and on the riverbanks of India many thousands of years before Adam, Abraham,Moses, Buddha, Muhommad or Christ. The word Hindu is derived from the ancient Persians, who invaded northwestern India in about 600 BCE. They came across the Sanskrit speaking people living on the other side of the river Indus (called Sindhu in Sanskrit) and called them Sindhus.
In the Persian language, the word Sindhu became Hindu and the people living in India came to be known as Hindus. In order to trace the origin of Hinduism, one must delvelop deep into ancient history.
The Vedic culture, based upon sanatan Dharma, was founded with begining of this Kalpa thousand years ago by Sage Maharshi Swayanbhuva Manu, on the banks of the ancient Saraswati and Dhrishadvati rivers. His descendants, known as the Panchajanas, were a mixed race who spoke different dialects of an ancient form of Vedic Sanskrit.
In the course of time (over thousands of years) the Panchajanas became divided into hundreds of tribes and clans. They built cities and towns on the banks of rivers.
The persons managing the affairs of the Vedas were known as Brahmanas. Sanatan Dharma flourished from the pre-historic times to about 600 BC in the form of a monotheistic Hindu pantheon (i.e. the worship of one Supreme God in various ways and forms). Then came the dark age when Aryas began to forget Ved Dharma due to the emergence of Kaliyuga. A test from god to see weather his chosen people could hold in the illusion created by him. When Kaliyuga passed 2000 years again Aryas arose and Kings like Vikramditaya and Ashoka are a symbol Arya domination. Kingdom of Vikramaditya was from Arabia to Burma, from Kanyakumari to North Korea. Asoka's Kingdom was from Gandhara to Indonesia. But again came the age of Darkness when Arya like Ashoka turned to Budhism and Brahmins feeling insecure started Caste System. That was begining of new test from God. But after independence Arays are getting back to what they were at the time of Lord Krisna. Those who got converted by fear are not real Aryas. Aray is one who is born with Sanatan values and dies with Sanatan values. Kali Yuga will be test for all as when Kalki comes only real Aryas will survive and the rest will be destroyed.
Meanwhile a number of social and religious vices appeared in the form of excessive religious rituals, animal sacrifices, rigid operation of the caste system, and self-declared Brahmana superiority over the other castes. In a period marked 14 rebellion, Buddhism and Jainism emerged in India.Buddhism dominated for a period of approximately 1000 years.
However, its influence in India gradually eroded because of internal strife in its organization and the resistance put up by Sanatanists (the followers of sanatan Dharma). The rise of Buddhism, however, opened the eyes of Sanatanists. Buddha's message of deep friendship (mahamaitri) and unlimited compassion (mahakaruna) toward fellow beings was absorbed into Sanatan Dharma.Furthermore, sanatan Dharma popularized the worship of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna through Bhakti (devotion) Yoga. The worship of Lord Shiva, Divine Mother, Lord Rama and Lord Krishna through Bhakti Yoga became very popular among Sanatanists.
In about 700 AD, Adi Shankaracharya (a famous saint, philosopher, and scholar) played a leading role in upholding the cause of Sanatan Dharma. He also brought the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita to the forefront. Once again we saw Arya Dharma progressing in right direction. Since early times, India's history has undergone many upheavals and changes as a result of foreign domination. At the same time, India has had the good fortune of producing a number of illustrious religious and spiritual leaders to enrich and preserve sanatan Dharma. Great teachers that include Shankara, Alvars, Nayanars, Ramanuja, and Madhva, and saints such as Chaitanya, Kabir, Gyaneshwara, Paramahamsa Sri Ramakrishna, Aurobindo, Ramana Maharshi, and many others made significant contributions to the continued preservation and growth of sanatan Dharma.
As a Sanatanist himself, Mahatma Gandhi became the greatest exponent of ahimsa (non-violence), one of the fundamental tenets of sanatan Dharma. He was able to secure political freedom of India from British rule by practicing the ideals taught by sanatan Dharma.
The concept of sanatan Dharma spread to other parts of the world through emissaries who visited India and from Indians who visited foreign lands. The forerunner of this movement, the Western world was Swami Vivekananda. His address at the World Parliament of Religions, held in Chicago in September of 1893, had an everlasting impact. The seeds of sanatan Dharma were sown in American soil. Later, Paramahansa Yogananda, who came to the United States in 1920, helped spread the universal ideals of sanatan Dharma.
The establishment of Shankara's Advaita Vedanta philosophy and the decline of Buddhism in India are the two main landmarks of this period. This was also the begining of the devotional movement spearheaded by the twelve mystic poets of South India, known as Alvars. Bhakti Movement (1000-1800 AD) This period saw the rise of devotional worship expounded by Ramanuja, amananda,Kabir,Tukaram,GuruNanak, Mirabai, Chaitanya, and many other religious teachers and saints. Modern Hindu Renaissance (1800-1950 AD)
Many religious leaders, saints, and scholars nourished the roots of Hinduism during this period. They unified Hindus in India by opposing the caste system, excessive ritualism, and idol worship.
The rulers like Moghuls and British tried every thing to demolish Sanatan Dharama, Britishers fabricated the Aryan Invasion theory but with the able guidance of Vedas and love of Om Aryas came out of that. Again the words of Bhavishaya Puran comes to light. "The ruling of Maleechs in Aryavrata is written but O my Chosen ones O great Aryas this will be the begining of their end"..... It further states Oh Aryas the real inhabitants of Aryavarata decedents of Manu, Kaliyuga has always been a greater test for you and I had seen in every circle of Chatur Yuga how you have emerged winner after Kaliyuga, same will be the case this time. When Kalki my last Incarnation of Chatur yuga comes Aryavrata will get back her Glory.
O the father of all Mankind we thank you for giving us eternal law called Sanatan, we further thank you for sending a noble soul like Ikshvaku to be the founder of Arya Rajya in this Kalpa.
(From Mark Bertrand)
O Father of Universe we thank you for choosing us as your divine people, we further thank you for taking birth as human in our clan. Your love for the world is Impartial. O Almighty we bow you for all what you have given us. (Summit Thakur)
